Meyer lives in Berlin and works there.

Meyer began his research into perceptual/spatial experiences in 2000, starting with the fleeting metaphoric aspects of clouds and views from airplane windows.

The works “Papierperspektive”, (“Paper Perspectives”) present multiple points of view and abstractions of seeing. They are created using lines that are superimposed with graph conventions drawn from cartography and meteorology. Emergent is dynamic, floating spaces that offer multiple perspectives and don’t allow the gaze rest. These drawings are for the artist both “perceptual reflections” of space and “thinking conduits”.
